12 Days to Democracy: A 12-Day March from Philadelphia to DC 
June 17-29, 2025 
 
12 Days to democracy is a bold action of peaceful protest, inspired by the humanity, civility and aspiration that has always been at the heart  of our democracy , our constitution,  and our nation.   A sustained act of peaceful resistance, this 138 mile journey will take us through towns, into cities, and along the trails of the East Coast Greenway.  And, because it will be a happy action of protest, our act of resistance will invite us to forge the kind of human connections that keep us hopeful, noisy, and willing to do what it takes to step out and speak up during these dark and deeply troubling times.

America is better than this moment. The time for courage and hope, unity and action is now.
